Platt Park Church Group Campout

August 28–30, 2026 | Meadows Group Campground (Site 2). We’ve reserved a beautiful group site at Buffalo Creek (just an hour away), and we’d love for you to join us for a fun, relaxed weekend! We’ll all be camping together, but you are in charge of your own adventure.
The weekend is totally free! Just bring your own food, water, cooking gear, and camping supplies — whether you're in a tent or a camper. You can choose your own mealtimes, set your own pace, and enjoy the freedom of doing camp your way while still being part of the community. In the evenings we’ll gather around a shared firepit. Platt Park Church will provide the firewood and s’mores supplies! Charlie will lead a campfire worship service on Sunday morning before we pack up and head home.
The site has plenty of space, a port-a-potty, and trash receptacles. It is perfect for families, featuring beautiful rocks for kids to climb and lots of open space to explore. Pack your gear, mark your calendar, and get ready for a weekend of connection and outdoor fun with your church family! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. (Just register yourself and let us know how many guests you're bringing when prompted. No need for everyone in your tent to register!)

Volunteer with the Preschool/Kindergarten Ministry!

Help care for our littlest church members! Our Preschool/Kindergarten Ministry is looking for a few more volunteers to serve just one Sunday a month. It’s a fun, meaningful way to support our kids and families. If you’re willing to help, please click here to sign up. THANK YOU!

Community Care

Are you, or is someone you know, in need of care? We all have times in life when we need support. Sometimes that support is in the form of meals or a hospital visit. Sometimes that support looks like someone to listen and pray with you. Our Community Care Team would love to come alongside you and care for you in this time. Click here to fill out a prayer request and mark “yes” for someone to contact you. You are so loved.

Sunday Morning Parking

As the Farmer’s Market season brings more activity to the neighborhood, we want to remind everyone of the parking and transportation options available on Sunday mornings. In addition to street parking, we have spaces in the alley behind the church and a dedicated overflow parking lot at Pearl Street & Mexico. Even on busy Farmer’s Market mornings, there is typically parking available just a few blocks east or south of the church. For those who would rather skip parking altogether, we also have a bike rack near the front doors of the church. The Louisiana/Pearl light rail station is a short walk away, and there are multiple RTD bus stops within a few blocks of the church.

Thank you for supporting the ministry of Platt Park Church.
