Vespers Service

Wednesday, May 20, 8PM in the sanctuary. Join us on Wednesday, May 20 at 8PM for a quiet, dark evening Vespers service. This contemplative gathering will include music, prayer, silence, and space to slow down and rest in the presence of God together. Whether you come feeling full or weary, peaceful or overwhelmed, all are welcome to enter the stillness and close the day in community.

Summer of Fun

Summer of Fun
Summer of Fun is a simple, community-led calendar of events created by you. It’s all about sharing the things you already love — hikes, backyard BBQs, game nights, bike rides, paddleboarding, museum visits — and inviting others to join in. The full list of Summer of Fun activities will be released on May 17th!

Summer After-Parties

One of our favorite summer traditions starts May 24th! From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, we invite you to head out to the side yard and stay awhile after the worship service. These “After-Parties” are a chance to slow down, connect, and get to know someone you might not otherwise meet.

Some Sundays will include snacks, thanks to volunteers who help host — but whether there’s food or not, the heart of it is the same: making space for community. Click here if you’d like to help host an After-Party. Happy summer!

Eagle Lake Volunteer Opportunities

Eagle Lake Camp is back this summer — and there are still a few spots open for kids to register! We’d also love your help making this week possible. We’re currently looking for:
• Host Homes — Provide a place for a college-age counselor to stay for the week
• Medical Volunteers — Help during camp hours (flexible; no medical training required)

New Serving Trip Opportunity in Alamosa

Trip Dates: September 4 – 7, 2026
Platt Park Church will serve at La Puente Center in Alamosa, CO as an immersive service trip to support the San Luis Valley through shelter, food security, and outreach programs. Volunteers typically engage in community projects, such as farming, food bank support, or thrift store assistance, aiding in homeless prevention. Families welcome!
Cost: To be Finalized but less than $200 per person for the weekend

Volunteer with the Preschool/Kindergarten Ministry!

Help care for our littlest church members! Our Preschool/Kindergarten Ministry is looking for a few more volunteers to serve just one Sunday a month. It’s a fun, meaningful way to support our kids and families. If you’re willing to help, please click here to sign up. THANK YOU!

Community Care

Are you, or is someone you know, in need of care? We all have times in life when we need support. Sometimes that support is in the form of meals or a hospital visit. Sometimes that support looks like someone to listen and pray with you. Our Community Care Team would love to come alongside you and care for you in this time.
